Quintet, in partnership with BlackRock, had a very specific challenge: they wanted to create a global and far-reaching campaign, telling client stories, but, due to data protection rules, without showing real people. In addition, this was to be a global campaign. So, there needed to be a way of re-creating this content across markets and in different languages, without it becoming a hugely costly exercise.
Our response was to create a series of 7 x mini case studies, showing various stories through character animation. To get around the problem of transcreation, we produced these in a ‘silent movie’ format - with chapter cards that told the story and which could be easily translated into multiple languages. In this way, we were able to build a journey for our audience. The results were numerous assets for a campaign delivered within a 10-week time period.
