Investment podcasts can be, well... predictable.

M&G Investments wanted to shake things up — creating a video podcast series that felt fresh, engaging, and different from the usual finance chat. Inspired by Off Menu and Hot Ones, they wanted a format that brought personality to the forefront.

Video’s dominating LinkedIn, especially among execs. Local uploads are up 44%, with videos getting 1.4x more engagement. CEOs are posting 23% more, getting four times the impressions. Jon Gray (GymShark)and Ben Francis (Blackstone) are proving that video’s the key to real connections.

Enter ‘Dream Machine’. Forget the dry talk – here, fund managers share career insights while revealing their ultimate vending machine snack choices. Because who says you can’t blend brains with a little personality?

Filmed in a one-of-a-kind set (complete with a custom neon sign, naturally), this series sets itself apart by showcasing the real personalities behind the numbers. We also dropped some eye-catching teaser clips to grab attention and spark curiosity on socials.
