James and Jake approached us with a mission: launch their new luxury skincare range for men to a wide social media audience. As the new kids on the block, the brand had no media assets and zero social media presence.
It was therefore important to produce a lot of high quality, premium content to anchor their brand on social media and make an impact from the word go.
As a premium brand, James and Jake needed content to reflect its quality and make an entrance in a market full of ‘lad’ brands.
We set the tone with luxury social media videos, photography and GIFs – building a library of content assets that the brand could use across their various platforms – with Instagram being the main destination for their audience.
As a start-up with limited budget, we needed to squeeze a lot from a single day of filming. A tight shoot schedule, great location and quick work meant that we captured lots of the ninja-fingered editors back at basecamp!
The results are there to see on James and Jakes social platforms. We made good and produced:
2 hero films for use online and across social, 6 films tailored for social media usage, 6 product films, and 391 photos to be used on the website as well as across social.
All that content captured in one day – that’s one well moisturised man.
